stardustcboy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i was going to write a really scathing rant, but i lost my energy and my train of thought man, does the weekend really have to be over? fuck...it's never enough goddammit! in my country we'd have 3 day weekends and 4 day work weeks. aaaaanyway, in an ideal world, eh? too bad we all live in "reality" where things suck and people are shitty. but does it have to be? that's what i want to know... so here i am back at the ol' grind. i have my review later on, but i've already been informed of my raise so that's cool. the review at this point is just a formality. the weekend was great, too short, but great nonetheless. this heat seems to be gettin' everyone down and everywhere it seems that people are irritable, grumpy, impatient and aggrevated. i think it's because we don't get to enjoy the sunshine as much. how bad is blistering hot when you're sunning on the beach all day naked? not bad at all if you ask me. instead we're caged in our lil offices, in our lil cube farms slaving away in front of glaring computer monitors watching our lives race away with every tick-tock of the workday clock. 8 hours + a day. 8 hours of your life gone forever. they tell you that's how it works, that that is life and you just deal with it. maybe it is...but i really, REALLY can't shake this feeling that it ISN'T. eh, but i digress. what was i writing about? fuck it, i don't remember. i'll try to hop back on a bit later. until then stay cool kids. ~B-) 2:23 p.m. - 2005-07-25 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
