stardustcboy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...5 DAYS!!... today is the kind of day where my heart is full of song! i'm bursting with fruit flavor! my good friend, whom i've known since i was in junior high is out visiting me from London. he moved there about 2 years ago to finish his doctorate in microbiology and genetic engineering. pretty amazing stuff, huh? he's awesomely smart. he had a big lecture to do up in santa barbara over the weekend, and his sweetheart flew in from London yesterday. the two of them are now staying at our place for the next couple of days before driving northwards to san fransisco and points inbetween. this is my first time meeting his lady-friend and i must say she is one very cute, very bodacious british bird! both gisele and i remarked to each other how utterly tasty she must be! lol...we're such little devils the two of us! *le sigh* if only everyone could be a 'styler. oh well! outside that work is keeping me quite busy still, and looks to keep its pace all the way until i depart for burningman! aaah...just 5 more days my loves! we've pretty much packed up all our necessary gear, and have only to procure food and water which we will do on saturday or sunday. so overall there are many things going on in my life, and i feel incredibly positive overall. that's not to say that life won't take its share of twists and turns, but i feel that no matter, i will still hang on and roll with it. i only wish that i could give to you all some of what i feel. today i am particularly sensitive to the sorrows of the world. it leaves a tender, bittersweet flavor in my mouth, and my spirits are spiced with a dash of melancholy. such is the way of the world my loves. remember that all things have their part and purpose in the great scheme of the cosmos. nothing is arbitrary, and no event is ever beyond your power to change for the better. i got gOogLed again! it seems someone was researching "human history 'second stomach'" and my little vegan rant was fourth on the list. i wonder if someone is doing research to write a rebuttle? that would be cool, i do so dearly LOVE a good debate! or maybe it's just random coincidence. anyway, i'm sending you all the best out there. we all need as much positive energy as we can get sometimes. life can get a bit heavy...and although your burden is yours to bear...it always helps when someone is there to at least lift your spirits! so here's to you all! i'm reading you! my heart is full. ~B-) 4:28 p.m. - 2004-08-25 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
