stardustcboy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Choosing the right Brand Lifestyle for YOU in today's society of convenience, the quick route is the ideal. the fast track to success, weightloss, wealth, notariety, recognition, respect, admiration, love, romance, food, and eternal life. our lives are pre-fabricated. what brand identity do you choose? are you a GAP girl? you love it? i love it, i got it at ROSS. are you "built FORD tough"? everything we do, everything we buy, defines who we are. or at least that is how it seems. what profession you use to achieve this brand identity is also important. "what do you do?" is a common introductory phrase. who wants to answer with "i work at McDonald's?" or "i'm a janitor"? we want it flashy! we want it interesting! teacher? BAH!! so mundane! nurse? PHEH!! who cares? carpenter, baker, candlestick maker? nothing! we want CEO! we want MOVIEstar!! ROCKstar!! SPORTSstar!! those who make the money to brand themselves with expensive clothing lines, high-quality shoes made my children in china, cars that cost more than a moderately sized middle-class house! the brand identity you choose is VERY important to how people perceive you! it defines whether you're lower class, or on the up-and-up! people will think you're important, they'll KNOW that you're NUMBER ONE! when you ride around in your H3 with the bright, chrome, spinner rims people will say "there goes a GREAT person!" "look at how SUCCESSFUL they are!" the quality of your life, the importance of your existence is determined by what you BUY. from the toothpaste you use, to the couch in your living room, to the sheets on your bed, to the clothes on your back and the car that you drive. don't go for "cheap" brands, otherwise you may be perceived as "cheap" and unsuccessful...a low-life, a poor person. use that extra money to buy rich! that's what credit cards are for! it's free money. money that will allow you to live the LIFESTYLE you DESERVE! so what you're in debt, debt is a natural part of life! besides look at all the great things you have to show for it, and thus, look how great you are! be sure to choose the brands that best describe YOU. the brands that stand for the things that you believe in. if you care about the environment then it is VITAL to buy products and brands that care about the environment too. non-animal tested makeup and personal hygene products, less polluting and more fuel-efficient cars, and companies that protect the natural world from the predations of industry. don't shop at albertsons, shop at WHOLE FOODS and buy ALL ORGANIC produce. that makes a STATEMENT. it says "i CARE about what i put in my body, AND i care about the environment." be sure you let everyone know your stance and the brand that you choose. help them to make the BETTER choice. remember that your brand identity is deeply related to the lifestyle you live. every lifestyle has a brand or brands that help identify it. if you're straight ghetto and from the streets, be sure to choose brands that show it...FUBU, ECKO, PUMA, LEXUS. there are brands for every walk of life. it makes it EASIER and FASTER to choose a path that's right for YOU! no need to deal with the hassles of self-introspection and self-awareness. you can BUY it and HAVE it by simply CHOOSING the brands that fit your way of life. the food you eat is also important. your diet also defines what type of person you are. also be sure to align yourself to the proper political groups as well, the groups that stand by the brand identity of your life. the same thing goes to spirituality, there are plenty of items and brands and products you can buy to help define your faith. put a JESUS fish on your car, or get a book on buddha for your bookshelf at home. this shows that you have SPIRITUAL backbone. by purchasing items of spiritual significance you show the world that you are a moral and important human being. combined with the proper lifestyle brand identity and political association you will be a completely well-rounded and upstanding individual that people will respect and admire. you'll fit in, you'll be accepted, you'll find love and friendship. it really is quite that simple. if not, then there are a myriad of drugs that you can buy that can help you keep a healthy point of view. drugs that will allow you to maintain your brand lifestyle. we all feel nervous in new situations with new people, maybe you have Social Anxiety Disorder? that can be fixed with a quick trip to your doctor and a jaunt to the pharmacy. get bored in company meetings? find that your mind wanders to when you can take a vacation or spend time with your kids? you probably have Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. again, just stop by your doctor and get your prescription filled. you'll be right as rain, able to work day in and day out, focus, make more money, and eventually get that raise and promotion you've always wanted. all of this allows you to buy the brands that show you're on your way in the world, that display to those around you your social significance and stature. you too will one day be riding down the street in an expensive car, wearing expensive clothes, consuming expensive gas with your jesus fish and vanity license plate and the people who see you will know WITHOUT A DOUBT that you are IMPORTANT. they will marvel at your brand identity, they will be in awe of your extravagant brand lifestyle; and they will desire to be JUST LIKE YOU. you can nod your head at them and flash a smile. you can tell them "with enough hard work and effort you too can live the good life." choose your brands wisely. it's more than just products for day-to-day living, its a complete statement of WHO YOU ARE and WHERE YOU'RE GOING. remember that kids and you'll be on your way. if you feel raw about it, or feel depressed, or your leg fidgets, there are plenty of medications that can help you achieve your dreams of fortune, fame and happiness... ...or if anything, keep you from thinking about how empty you feel inside... ~B-) 5:48 p.m. - 2006-03-16 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
