stardustcboy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Revenge of Pat \"Ass-Boil\" Robertson...and...Kansas is dumb... yet ANOTHER example of why Pat "Ass-Boil" Robertson is a giant, festering ass-boil on the ass of christian faith... i stick to my original statement when i say that someone should assassinate Mr. Ass-Boil. man i hate that guy, he's a shit-stain. i other news it seems that people in kansas are dumb. it really amazes me just how ignorant people are becoming. what the hell? furthermore, why "CHRIST"IAN(tm)-based "intelligent design"? why not Hindu? is there a clause in the law that makes "CHRIST"IAN(tm) "intelligent design" the only form of "intelligent design" that can be taught? because if not, i suggest teaching muslim, just to kick those dip-shits in the nuts. take that!! haha! but seriously, "intelligent design"?!? i mean, COME ON! intelligent according to WHO? humans? HA! that's a fuckin' joke. like HUMAN intelligence can be ascribed to an infinite being of infinite power and infinite magnitude. how utterly ARROGANT. like a being of that magnitude (assuming that it even exists in the first place) comes anywhere CLOSE to the base-superstitious-barely-out-of-the-dark-ages human intellect. for cryin' out loud. jeez. the idea that we would assume that such a being would even THINK on the same level as us puny little mortals is just preposterous. seriously, in the scope of cosmic time, we JUST figured out that the earth is ROUND and that it actually ORBITS the sun. so to even make the leap (and it's a BIG one) that we as a species has any remote concept of a supreme being's will and purpose...well...it's just plain ignorance. i mean, isn't it sort of odd that we believe in a supreme being in the first place? some supernatural being that's responsible for the creation of everything? come on people! get it together. listen, i'm not going to say that there ISN'T a god; but at the same time i'm definitely not going to say that it has anything close to HUMAN emotions and motivations. it's alien, it's older than the universe...HELL, it IS the universe...who am i or anyone else for that matter to say exactly what it wants and what it's doing. i have no fucking clue! it's infinite. it would take me over 3 YEARS of continuous counting (one number every second 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year) to count to 1 billion. ONE BILLION. that's 1/6th the earth's population of humans. that being said it would take me 18 YEARS to count every human on earth. that's over 6 BILLION people! so imagine if you will how long it would take me to count EVERY STAR IN THE MILKY WAY GALAXY!!?!! there are OVER 200 BILLION STARS in our own galaxy...that would take me approximately 600 YEARS to count every star in JUST MY OWN GALAXY. do you know how many GALAXIES there are in the universe?!? scientists theorize that there are probably more than 80 BILLION!!! 80 BILLION PLUS PEOPLE!! if you average 200 BILLION STARS in each of the possible galaxies then it would take you 48,000,000,000,000 YEARS!! let me spell that out for you... FORTY-EIGHT TRILLION YEARS!!!!! so that being said...what the hell do we know? really? especially compared to a supposed infinite being that has existed since the dawn of time? and furthermore, who in the FUCK is Pat "Ass-Boil" Robertson to say that this supposed being is going to punish people in Pennsylvania because they voted against "intelligent design" being taught in class? a being that literally ALREADY KNOWS how many stars there are in the entire universe, a being that ALREADY KNOWS all the answers to all the greatest of human questions, a being that ALREADY KNOWS how it all began and how it all will end, a being that ALREADY KNOWS all the fucking answers. like it would even give a flying fuck about what voters in a tiny town, in an equally small state, on a little continent, on a microscopic planet, in an infinite void voted whether or not it was intelligent enough to create the universe and subsequently human life. via evolution or some amazing-supreme-being-feats-of-magic is sort of moot. i mean, seriously, isn't life and evolution pretty amazing? doesn't the idea that through environmental influences and generations of time and random mutations an organism can adapt and become something completely new and different? can develop thumbs and "large" brains, and complex forms of communication, and philosophical systems, and scientific systems and art and destruction and everything inbetween...isn't that just fucking amazing? isn't that alone enough? why? why does it have to have any other reason or purpose besides what is already evident? why CAN'T it be random? why NOT? if it is random, doesn't that make it even MORE PROFOUNDLY incredible? that just by mere happenstance all of these elements were emergent from the system? that over time gasses and dust and energy and matter all came together and formed stars and planets and moons...systems...which then began to develop weather patterns, tides, tectonic activity, and BIOLOGICAL LIFE...systems within systems within systems...isn't that just awe-inspiring? isn't that enough? does it need any other further definition and purpose? you may constantly ask "WHY?" instead ask "WHY NOT?" why not? hmmm? why. the. fuck. not? why are we here? why is the universe here? why is there pain? why is there joy? etc. why the hell not everybody? huh? why NOT? if you could actually find the reason as to WHY NOT then you might just have the key to the universe. we've learned that GODS don't make it rain...and that GODS don't make the volcano erupt...and that a GOD doesn't draw a flaming chariot across the sky every day...so why the hell do we hold on to this idea that a GOD made people?...that a GOD is responsible for our existence and our lives and our experiences? that a GOD is still responsible for the creation of the universe as a whole? if that's the case then let's just go ahead and go back to the ideas that GODS are responsible for everything. we'll make sacrifices to appease them and we'll concoct all sorts of zany rituals and observances so as not to piss them off; and we can actually listen to and believe everything that Pat "Ass-Boil" Robertson has to say. silly fucking humans...all your base are belong to us bitch. ~B-) 10:12 a.m. - 2005-11-11 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
