Vows to Gisele

I have learned that Love and God are one and the same.
In that, both may mean different things to different people;
But always they are a reason
To live
To survive
To hope
And to have Faith in something.
If love is divine then when I say,
�I love you�
I am speaking with the voice of the heavens
I am saying,
�You are my reason
To live
To survive
And to hope.
I am saying,
�You are my faith.�
By saying �I love you� here today before these witnesses � friends and family
I am pledging that faith in our divine unity to you.
Because it is divine,
I pledge that I will leave expectation at the door.
For the cosmos expects only that we live,
Love
And find peace in ourselves and others.
So to will I leave all judgements.
For the there is purpose in all things divine.
I will leave all fear
For it will only impeded our growth together
And eat away at the bonds of our love and faith.
I pledge to you today my honesty and loyalty;
My compassion and understanding,
My desire, my dreams,
And my undying love.
Let every breath and every word by my prayer to you.
Let my body and my heart be a temple to your faith in me.
And let my kisses, my touch, and my passion be the sacrament.
So that through our love
We harbor the spirit of all things;
And are a testament to Its design.

Let this ring be the cross to our faith in each other.
The symbol of the hope we cling to in each other.
Single bands of fine metal
Bound by the circle of the infinite.
Indivisible but separate,
Cut of the same design and elements.
The strength of the shape and the strength of its composition
Symbolize the strength of our own individual composition
As well as our unity together.

I love you Gisele
I will walk with you throughout your days.
I am your traveling companion
Who will carry you
When you have not the strength
Hold you and warm you
When night has fallen
And remember your toothbrush
When you forget.
Gisele, I have, I will, I do...
