stardustcboy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...Vivid in Gray... hello all my beloved cyber-friends and compatriots! aaah, a cloudy day here in cali...it's interesting how colors seem to pop more when the sky is overcast. the greens are more vivid, the petals of a flower seem to have a luminance of their own...it's almost as though the sunshine drowns out color in an oversaturation of brilliance...refraction...reflection...until everything sort of just blends together in tone and shine. but when the sky is gray. it is as though color holds more dearly to the light...clings to the soft ambient filtered light. a rose in a garden stares back at you vivid and brazen. calls you to it...until you find yourself bending forward, it's bright petals cupped in your hand... *inhale* *exhale* so how are all my lovlies doing today? the week been treating you well? thankfully, it has gone by rather quickly for your dear narrator, though i must admit that the "workend" seriously tampered with my natural clock. i shall take the time to reset it over the weekend. no work thank the great spirit! it is truly a WEEKend. saturday we're having a bonfire party. it'll be the last until next summer. the weather looks to be nice...for a cali autumn day. 73 degrees, partly cloudy...as long as there is no rain... sunday i shall spend the day with friends at disneyland. it's been literally 10 years since i last went. i have a little space fungus left over from burningman...i wonder if i should partake? what do you think? hmmm? eh, i think i shall forego the psychotropics. monday does immediately follow sunday, and i'm no good for a day after any sorts of sub-space dives. other than that not much else is planned...i think that some serious house-cleaning is in order. next weekend i shall be flying of to colorado to be a part of my lil sister's wedding. it'll be good to see all the family, and meet the NEW family. though sadly this cost me in vacation time and i won't be able to make it out for christmas...that's two years in a row now...such is the way. there are many things i'd like to write about right now, but i'm pressed for time. at any moment the IT will be here to replace my computer with a faster and more powerful machine (if that is possible). i did want to mention that all my work last weekend paid off, and our client creamed their jeans when they saw the models and animations that i had created for them. in the end i came out looking like a god...and i'd have it no other way. that's not the end by any means though, i still have much to do for the release in january. well my loves, i wanted to give you all some masturbation material for you...but again...i just don't have the time. *sigh* if only i had a computer at home that worked 100% of the time... someday my loves... ...someday. until then take care of yourselves. i hope to see you californians out at the bonfire party.
