stardustcboy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- damn you GOD MONEY! all right people. listen up. i've decided to renounce my anti-political ways. last night i watched "Bowling For Columbine" which in case you haven't seen is an incredibly interesting and thought-provoking documentary by Mr. Michael Moore. having grown up in colorado this lil piece of filmic delight hit me and got me all razzled. at first i thought it was going to be more leftist bullshit pansie propaganda (everyone knows i hate the left AND the right)...but AU CONTRARE! it was actually a pretty good look at what makes our country what it is. stripped down, the movie isn't so much about guns, or violence, or fucked up people who murder...it's about the system that creates THESE SYMPTOMS. note: SYMPTOM there's that word again. if you watch the film watch it for... A) - the interview with marylin manson B) - the interview with charlton heston compare and contrast the two. this is THE essence, the very fiber of the film. it simply seeks to ask... "why does the united states have the highest murders-by-guns-per-year than any other country? (11,000+ per year)" is it because we have MORE guns? is it because we have violent television, movies and song lyrics? is it because we don't spend enough time with the kiddies? no. it seems my friends the answer is this... THE UNITED STATES IS THE LEADING MANUFACTURER OF MILITARY GRADE DEFENSE WEAPONS, i.e.; WMD's; i.e; NUCLEAR WARHEADS, DEFENSE SATALLITE SYSTEMS; ARMORED VEHICLES... and above all... GUNS! that's right lil children. for those of you that don't know already, all of the "terrorists" and "dictators" of the world were put into those positions, funded and armed by the GOOD 'OL U-S-of-mutha'-fuckin'-A. so now i'm mad. but where to begin my friends? i don't trust the democrats because they're a bunch of socialist pansies who sometimes despite their high-hopes and idealism, really fall short of that little thing called REALITY. and i CERTAINLY don't like the republicans...ahem...i mean the NEOCONS who seem to think that there are only a select few who are meant to lead the masses of the weak [to slaughter]. well, i think mr. michael moore summed it up pretty good in the supplemental material on the DvD...that we need a 2 part effort... A) - create a stronger, independant 3rd party while... B) - bolstering and strengthening the democratic party who is, in his words, "A POOR EXCUSE FOR A POLITICAL PARTY" you see people, the sad thing is that it still is all in the name of GOD MONEY. someone wants to benefit from all of it and WE THE PEOPLE are merely pawns in this vast and totally retarded power struggle. so let's do as rumblelizard says and just get the fuck off our lazy, apathetic, chicken-shit asses and vote this fuckin' retard Bush out of office. he is not the cool my friends and despite not liking the demmies, i totally loathe the neocons more and would like to see them all "retired". you see, sadly, it seems that weapons are a part of our society for whatever reason or another. i agree with the documentary in that i think that it is mostly due to the fact that we are cowed into submission through propaganda and the FEAR MACHINE, aka the media. everywhere you look there's a new "threat" or hazard or evil that must be vanquished. you REALLY have to watch this movie. you know what else it is? i hate to say it because i know it's gonna' piss a lot of people off...eh...whatthefuckamitalkin' about? no one reads this diary so fuck all... ORGANIZED RELIGION or better known as CORPORATIZED SPIRITUALITY that's right folks. the god you love so dearly, the one you look to for support is there merely to shepard you into the arms of the new god...GOD MONEY. now i'm not saying that faith is a bad thing, but YOU MUST REALIZE that faith is a much, much, much more different thing than organized religion. YOU DON'T NEED AN ORGANIZATION FOR FAITH. that's all there is to it. organizations do just what the name implies...they ORGANIZE. organize all the lil people into their boxes, stick labels on 'em, count 'em, draw the boundaries and the lines and say this is evil and that is good and if you're good then you'll be rewarded when you die. BECAUSE EVERYONE IS AFRAID TO DIE! they feed this to us. the FEAR. of harm, of death, of loss, of pain. it is the most successful marketing/manipulation tool ever. RULE THROUGH FEAR. do bad, god will strike you down and cast you into hell for all eternity. do good, and you will live a happy life in heaven with all the angels and the loved ones you knew in life. DOES ANYONE SEE THIS AS ALL THAT DIFFERENT FROM 1000 VIRGINS?!? i'm sorry everyone. i really, really, REALLY hate to break it to you but... YOU WILL DIE. it sucks i know becuase there is so much to do! so many things to pack in before the reaper comes for you! but hey! look at ALL THESE PRODUCTS that can help you fight aging! DID YOU KNOW THAT AGING IS THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF DEATH AROUND THE WORLD!!!???!!! oh, and you better try and gratify NOW because tomorrow you could get killed by terrorists!! so buy you easy-to-use food-processor today! and don't forget to stop at victoria's secret too! and the gap! and home depot! because if you don't buy now people won't like you, you won't get laid, you'll die lonely and poor and homeless and destitute. that's right! and you don't want to DIE do you?!? of course not... and that's how it goes. around and around and around. people kill themselves because they don't fit what they see on Tv...people kill other people for cars...money...gold watches... do you have ANY IDEA how many children die mining those OH-SO-PRECIOUS DIAMONDS that all the ladies are so quick to dawn upon their slender, pasty fingers? look into it sometime my friends...it's terrifying... GOD MONEY RULES ALL on the backs of the weak and the wounded the avatars of GOD MONEY grow fat and decadent. the idols of GOD MONEY burn through the television and pump filth into our heads...be like us...be like us... the beautiful people the beautiful people and everywhere there is emptiness and sorrow. because we try to live up to standards that aren't humanly possible. we seek perfection where there just cannot be. we are neurotic... we are sick... and GOD MONEY devours us whole. it's time my friends to stand up and make a difference. to change the world for the better for the rest of mankind and for all of prosperity. no more shall we let the old white men rule...no more shall we bow before the proxies of GOD MONEY...no more shall we be tormented under the yoke of FEAR. it is time my friends for an uprising. i'm not talking guns, or bombs, or riots or violence... i'm talking simple day-to-day things. i'm talking small interactions that spread like wildfire. i want to change the world. how about you? i need you. i need you to help me. i can't walk on water and i can't heal with a touch. but perhaps together we can? perhaps if we all rise together we can stand as one and bring down the alters of GOD MONEY forever? where to start? what should we do? what should i do? help me. i cannot bear the sadness alone, and i cannot defeat GOD MONEY alone. it is so integrated into our lives. everyday i think about it. everyday i reach into my pocket in communion to it. for food, for water, for shelter for "happiness". how do we live in a world without GOD MONEY? *sigh* heavy. i'm gonna' think on all of this for a while...see if i can't come up with something...some sort of beginning...a catalyst...perhaps you can too? if you have any ideas let me know. we can brainstorm together and come up with something really great! until then party peeps...here's some homework... 1) - watch "Bowling for Columbine" if you haven't already 2) - research the DIAMOND TRADE and DE BEERS 3) - look into Straussian philosophy (this is the philosophy that the neocons follow) 4) - read about cannibis, how it grows, harvesting it, etc. 5) - do some google searches on DNA computers 6) - do some more google searches on algae and how it can be forced to produce large quantities of hydrogen mmm...that's all i can think of for now... be good my friends...and moreover...be good to others. until next time! ~B-) 2:52 p.m. - 2003-08-26 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
