Kansas Senator: "Nah nah need boo boo stick your head in doo-doo" to KU Professor Mirecki Sen. O'Connor's statement at the end, "I'm glad they decided to listen to the public. The public response was so negative because of what seemed to be so hateful coming from the KU professor...I am critical of his hatefulness toward Christians." okay, newsflash! just because someone thinks your philosophical views are retarded doesn't mean they hate you. i know a lot of 'Christ'ians(TM) and they're all actually pretty good people, unfortunately i think that their philosophy is utterly retarded, but HEY, who am i to say what is right and wrong? alls i know is i have my own lil philosophy based upon rigorous study and experiential wisdom...but since this is MY life, and no one in the world will ever live a life EXACTLY like it i don't expect anyone to agree with any of it. i just go with what makes sense... sure, sure the guy said some pretty rude stuff in an e-mail or on the boards or whatever, and that was pretty stupid of him; but what do you expect? i mean, i think all scientists out there would agree with me when i say that lately the 'Christ'ians(TM) seem to have it out for good ol' fashioned logic and science. it's like suddenly this tiny lil group of people is turning back the clock of progress, and won't stop until they've enforced their wonky ideals on everyone around them. you'd think that if 'Christ'ianity(TM) was so great EVERYONE would be into it...but yet... whatever, it's just sad that people will yell that santa claus and the easter bunny don't exist but still believe in some omniscient invisible man and an imaginary friend, but i guess we all need something to believe in. i just don't get why one and not the other, or why not all of them if that's the case? *shrugs* stupid humans. ~B-) 5:04 p.m. - 2005-12-02 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
